4. Quotations and Pricing
Quotes and estimates are based on the information available at the time of enquiry, inspection or booking. Final pricing may change if the scope of work changes, hidden issues are found, additional materials are required, access is restricted or further work is needed.
Larger or more complex jobs may require a site visit before an accurate quotation can be confirmed. Any quotation is valid only for the period stated or, if no period is stated, for a reasonable time subject to material and labour availability.
5. Bookings and Appointments
Appointment times are arranged based on availability, location and job requirements. We aim to attend on time, but delays may occur due to traffic, emergencies, supplier delays, previous jobs, weather conditions or circumstances outside our control.
Customers should ensure that safe access is available at the agreed appointment time. If access is not available, a call-out, waiting or cancellation charge may apply.
6. Payments
Payment terms will be confirmed before work begins. Deposits, upfront payments or stage payments may be required for larger jobs, ordered materials, certificates, planned works or specialist services.
Final payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late or unpaid invoices may result in additional charges, suspension of further work or recovery action.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must provide accurate information, safe access to the property, parking or loading access where possible, and inform us of any known risks, defects, restrictions, unsafe areas, access issues or existing property problems.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have permission from the property owner, landlord, managing agent or relevant authority before instructing us to carry out work.
8. Safety, Compliance and Certificates
Electrical, gas safety, EPC, EICR, CP12 and compliance-related services will be carried out by suitably competent professionals where required. Certificates and reports are issued based on inspection results and the condition of the property, installation or system at the time of assessment.
A certificate, report or inspection result does not guarantee that future faults will not occur after the inspection date.
9. Repairs, Installations and Maintenance Works
Repairs, installations and maintenance works may involve plumbing, heating, electrical, access, replacement parts, removal, testing, making good and finishing work. Timescales are estimates and may change due to materials, supplier delays, hidden defects or customer changes.
Any additional work not included in the original quote will be discussed and may be charged separately.
10. Materials and Parts
Where materials or parts are required, availability and pricing may vary. We are not responsible for delays caused by suppliers, discontinued parts, incorrect third-party information or specialist order lead times.
Customer-supplied parts or materials may not be covered by our workmanship guarantee if they are faulty, unsuitable, incomplete or incompatible.
11. Cancellations
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange a booking. Charges may apply where materials have been ordered, work has started, engineers have attended, or short-notice cancellation causes loss of time.
12. Guarantees and Defects
We aim to complete all work with reasonable care and skill. Any workmanship guarantee will depend on the service type and will not cover misuse, wear and tear, third-party work, lack of maintenance, unsuitable existing systems, customer-supplied parts or damage caused after completion.
Any concerns about completed work should be reported as soon as possible so the issue can be reviewed.
13. Liability
We are not responsible for indirect losses, loss of business, loss of profit, pre-existing faults, hidden defects, customer-supplied incorrect information or issues caused by third-party contractors.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits liability where it cannot legally be limited under the laws of England and Wales.
14. Website Use
Website content is provided for general information only. Images, text, service descriptions and website materials must not be copied, reused or reproduced without permission.
We aim to keep website information accurate, but service details, availability and prices may change without notice.
15. Privacy and Personal Data
We may collect your name, contact details, address, enquiry details and service information to respond to enquiries, provide quotations, manage bookings and deliver services. Personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws.
16. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please contact us as soon as possible. We will review the issue and aim to respond within a reasonable time.
17. Governing Law
